WHAT IS THE COLLEGE PROCESS?

The new year is a great time to start the college process. Which raises an important question:

What is the college process?

Many students start the college process wondering which college will accept them and where they will end up attending college. These are real concerns, but a more fruitful place to begin is with the goal to create options for the future. A good college process leaves a student excited about a wealth of opportunities they can take advantage of, and a good college process ends with a student making a choice to attend the best school for them out of several compelling options.

The college process is about choice. The college process is also about growth.

The purpose of the college process is to learn more about yourself as you create a compelling future. Where you are right now is just the beginning of a deep exploration of yourself and the possibilities available to you. Use your college process as an opportunity to try new things and to see yourself and your world in new ways.
