UC AND CSU DEADLINES ARE COMING UP

 Most University of California and California State University application deadlines are December 1st. 

What is the best way to prepare your UC and CSU applications?

12th Graders:

For 12th graders, it is important to fill out the different portions of the University of California and California State University applications ahead of the deadline.  Although it is possible to apply with an undecided major to some UC and CSU campuses, if you know what you would like to study it is best to choose a major when you apply.  Before you apply, research UC and CSU campuses as well as the majors that each campus offers.  You will also need to ask a parent or guardian questions as you complete your UC and CSU applications, so set up a time to ask those questions now.

11th Graders:

For 11th graders, now is a great time to start exploring different majors.  Spend some time online looking at majors and careers that interest you.  Find out what people in different careers do, then find out what major they pursued in college.  Explore different UC and CSU campuses to see if they offer potential majors that interest you.
